Modern art is a marvel that few truly understand. The nuances of what defines the modernity of art or how historians study art throughout the ages are one thing altogether, but what of the visual nature of modern art? Are we all supposed to look at a Pollock and immediately understand what makes a splattering of paint such a masterpiece? Even after all my investigation, there is still so much I'm looking forward to learning, and I love where the process of discovery has taken me. I hope after you've made it through, you'll be able to say the same. I also hope that this project will be a starter roadmap to appreciating and understanding the mastery of the best modern art of our time!
